
Finally, Actress Juliet Ibrahim has pen her name in the actress cum musician books. Following the trend of Genevieve Nnaji, Stella Damascus, Omotola and the most controversial; Tonto Dikeh, Juliet marks the first Ghanaian actress to have released a single titled ‘Celebrate.’ The song features fast rising dancehall art, Jupita and was produced by Sammie Blac.
On like the others who stopped after a release or two, Juliet has promise to consider her music talent as a priority. She’s working on other three singles with the Bayla boys (R2Bees), Becca and Nana Ama Mcbrown respectively. Singing at family gatherings and at church at age six, Juliet’s Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Danielle Dialllo revealed that, “Juliet has being singing since childhood and I understand the delay because she has a scale of preference so for me, am not surprise at all.”
On the 1st of January 2013, Sexy Juliet was named among the Top 10 influential female celebrities in Africa for the year 2012. Being the only Ghanaian on the list, Juliet Ibrahim and Omotola Jalade (Nigirian) are the only actresses believed to have impacted positively to the society in 2012.
