Formerly known as Christina Love, award winning Gospel musician Obaapa Christy has had a fair share of challenges that led to the break of a nine year old marriage with Pastor Love.

As it is often said, “if the fish comes out of the river to tell you that the crocodile has one eye, you should believe it”.

With her experience and relations with colleague musicians, we do not have any reason to doubt her recent utterance that most Gospel musicians in Ghana are facing terrible challenges in their marriages although she admits almost every marriage has its own problems.

In a recent interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, the musician who seems to be enjoying her current marriage revealed a lot of her colleagues were suffering in their marital homes but are unable to voice it out due to where they find themselves in society.

“A lot of Gospel musicians have problems in their marriages …the challenge is that most of us are unable to voice our challenges simply because of where God has placed us.”

Although Obaapa Christy admits some marriages are very beautiful, she believes it’s extra difficult to marry a pastor.

“There’s no marriage without challenges but it’s tough to marry a pastor”, she said.

She also asked Gospel musicians to be careful who they settle with as marriage is not a race.

This came up when Abeiku Santana asked if it was necessary Gospel musicians married pastors who are perceived to understand musicians and their trade better.

Born Christina Twene, Obaapa Christy has nine albums to her credit and looks up to veteran musicians such as Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Tagoe Sisters, Georgia Adjei, Stella Aba Seal, Amy Newman and Nana Yaw Asare for inspiration and motivation.

The conduct and attitude of a person occupying a position says a lot about them as well as the one who appointed or elected them. Like a president who is elected by a whole nation, it is easy for anyone to question them when they don’t act in a way and manner as expected.

But when it comes to the office of the man of God, these offices are occupied by people called or ordained by God and are accountable to God and not men. The difficulty lies in differentiating between who is called by God and who is not; who is fake and who is real.

Since the Lord says in 1 Chronicles 16:22 (NLT) that “Do not touch my chosen people, and do not hurt my prophets”, it is hard for many to question. Also because we didn’t play any role in their appointments it makes it impossible for them to be accountable to men.

When it comes to marriage, many people love to settle down with a person who loves the things of God. Many women want to get married to men of God, which is fine. However because many of these ladies are not in tune with God or do not have a good relationship with Him, they are not able to verify who is real or fake.

They are therefore easily swayed by appearance forgetting God looks at the heart and this allows these fake men of God to take advantage of them. Some of the ladies become mere sex objects to the men. They use these naive ladies as their stress relievers. The sad part is that many of the ladies who fall victims don’t even where these men of God live. Hotels and guest houses are their meeting places.

Their lame excuse is that they are popular and their reputation is at stake so they should play it safe and relate underground. Some of the ladies have had a number of abortions for these men of God, with the assurance that they will get married to them one day.

God doesn’t endorse sin no matter the grace He has available for us. Each single soul is precious to God. He is not happy with any man who acts as His ambassador working for the enemy who is Satan.

If you are a young lady and want to marry a man of God, please do so because you want to be his helper not because of his popularity or the tithe he receives from his church. A helper in the sense that his business is your business, you are not going in because of the harvest but you are involved in the labour.

Jesus Christ the son of God was not popular when He was working for His Father. Judas Iscariot had to kiss him before His killers could figure Him out. The Kingdom business is not about fame or popularity; it is about serving God faithfully with whatever He has given you.

No man of God wants to have a wife who doesn’t support him. If you don’t have the heart and desire to serve God, don’t date any man of God in the first place. If you are dating him because you think having the gift to sing well makes you the ideal wife for him, you are wrong. You will be replaced when he gets someone who sings better and supports him.

Sin is sin not matter who is leading you to it. Don’t allow yourself to be used; don’t lose your soul in the name of a marriage which may not even come to pass.

In conclusion “Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.” – 1 John 4:1 (NLT).

Please share with your friends, someone out there needs this.

Afia BoobsSista Afia

Highlife singer Sista Afia is one of the few Ghanaian musicians who are endowed with heavy assets – front and back view.

Her body can be compared to ladies like Amanda Jissih, Peace Hyde, Confidence Haugen, Joselyn Dumas, Yvonne Okoro, Lydia Forson and many others. Afia is one lady who did not care about her raunchy photos coming out but as she grew in the music industry, she put a stop to that.

She can decide not to release such photos anymore but she cannot stop taking photos, which show her heavily endowed body. New photos of Sista Afia avalaible to Zionfelix.net from her bedroom show the “Krokrono” singer displaying her heavy goodies in a beautiful bra.

It is rare to see such pictures of public figures so if we get hold of them, we don’t keep it away from the public.

From how the pictures were taken, it looked like Sista Afia was trying to have fun by snapping these images of herself in bra but since we have these photos and we loved them including everything she is showing, we cannot keep it away from you – at least you also have to see what her mama gave her and appreciate God’s work.

Zionfelix.net is informed that Sista Afia has worked with Shatta Wale on a new song she calls “Jeje” and it will be released on December 20.

M.festM.anifest

Answering questions at a press release ahead of his fifth annual M.anifestivities concert tomorrow, rapper M.anifest has explained why he does not have artists under his wings.

He opines that art is a personal journey, and no one really teaches art:”Artistry is not carpentry”, he says, “Take all the young artists I meet. I am mostly interested in meeting them because I appreciate what they are doing, and people are in different times of their lives”.

M.anifest collaborates with quite a number of emerging acts on Nowhere Cool, including Cina Soul and Worlasi (with whom he has hinted of a joint project in the near future), and stresses his willingness to support them in whatever capacity:

“I’m very willing to share any bits of information I have that might not exist, but there’s no formula for this. They look within themselves and find who they want to be. It’s different with technical advice [but] I’m definitely one who is a great supporter of the young ones who I think need to flourish more and not allow the scene to be stale, because otherwise, the scene will be stale”.

This year, like many others, M.anifest has been among the most spoken-about rappers in the country, dominating headlines and being named among the top emcees in the country; notably by international music channel MTV Base Africa.

He also released his fifth project: Nowhere Cool to significant commercial and critical acclaim, including from Damon Albarn, Rocky Dawuni, and Spoek Mathambo.

M.anifestivities 2016 comes off tomorrow at the SandBox Beach, Labadi, and will see supporting acts from top Nigerian singer Brymo, Worlasi, Keyzus,, Cina Soul among others.

This is my first time at a major show in Ghana…this doesn’t happen all the time, so I’m looking to set in the spirit, and take people with me”.

Slated for the Sandbox – Labadi, on December 16, the show, which has been running since 2012, is a traditional gesture of appreciation to M.anifest’s fans for their unwavering support, and will also witness performances from other esteemed industry colleagues including Cina Soul, Keyzus, and Worlasi.

“Even the man I was then married to…. my child’s father has never taken a shot of my nakedness, I don’t play in such manner… such wilful attitude is never part of me.”

The beautiful actress was speaking on the controversial segment Kasapa Entertainment, ‘Pae Mu Ka’.

She urged section of the public to stop pointing accusing fingers at her claiming she’s the first actress to post her semi-nude photo shoot on social media platform.

Black Couple DateFile photo

Online dating can be a numbers game. You need to always put your best foot forward when you find a profile that’s intriguing and are interested in pursuing someone. But what many singles fail to realise is that, their number-one pick may also be many other people’s favourite, too! However, online dating is simply the first step in building a relationship between two people that you need to successfully move offline.

But remember, there could be heavy competition for dates and you can’t afford to blow your first impression, either online or off-line.

Here are some first-date mistakes that you absolutely can’t afford to make if you want to put a second date on your planning calendar:

Avoid the ex-factor: No one wants to hear about your sad past on a first date. Instead, always try to keep it light and fun. Talk about your favourite film, play, vacation spot, book, or what you enjoy doing on the weekends.

Flirting with disaster: I hear about men having a roving eye while on their first date with someone. So, men: focus on the woman you are meeting. Be captivated by your first-date conversation and engage with her.

Don’t dress for the bedroom: Men are visual creatures and they can imagine undressing women with their eyes the moment they meet.

This doesn’t mean that women should wear a sexy low-cut outfit showing off lots of cleavage. Men like to slowly unwrap a package, so to speak.

Unless you’re just looking for a hook-up, women should leave the sexy clothes for when they really are ready for a more intimate relationship.

Hide the IPhone and Blackberry: Sure, you connect with others online. But when you get to your date, put your smartphone in your pocket or purse and leave it there.

It shouldn’t be a visible accessory on your date. Otherwise, it will give the impression that you are waiting for a better invitation to come in. Avoid the urge to check your messages and text a friend while you’re on a date.

Do your homework: Just as you should be prepared for a job interview by researching your prospective employer to make a good impression, you should remember important details about the date you’re meeting.

Print out your date’s profile. Make notes on the page outlining the conversations you have together. Mention something that you liked about his or her profile.

Don’t act like this person’s just another number in a series and that you’re too busy dating around to remember individual details.

It’s a first date, not an instant relationship: Dating and courting is a process. Even if you connect on a deeper level and think he or she could be The One, don’t start talking about your future together right now. It’s just a first date.

Enjoy the fact that it’s going well. Be excited that you both want to put a second date on the calendar, but don’t start filling up someone’s life as the instant girlfriend or instant boyfriend. It can come across as needy and you might get a text message later on canceling date number two.

Show your date that you have a full and happy life. Having someone special in it will just make it that much better. And remember that courtship should be enjoyable!

Even if there is no chemistry on your date, don’t be rude and walk out. What if your date happens to have a friend he or she’d be happy to introduce to you that would be a better fit?

Look at every date as a possibility for expanding your social network or meeting a new friend. If it turns into a romantic relationship, then you’ve hit the jackpot.

Sometimes relationships fizzle. Sometimes they end abruptly with little left to question. Other times, while you may believe you are with the man of your dreams, he is sending mixed signals and leaves you guessing about his feelings. You make excuses for his confusing behaviour.

Understanding the signs that the man you are with is no longer interested in you may be painful, but it will get you past a dead-end relationship so you can go on with your life.

Communication: He does not pick up your calls or return your texts and emails in a timely manner. You find yourself making excuses for his lack of connection. Avoidance is a simple and clear message that he is not seeking your attention.

Social: He does not involve you in his family life or make an effort to introduce you to family or friends. He does not invite you to social functions. He does not make himself available to meet your friends and family.

Availability: He is too busy to set aside time to spend with you; he has other things going on. He does not want to make plans more than a day out. You may be more of a convenience or a distraction than relationship material.

Future: He does not bring up the future. Even if you are not planning for a wedding and children, he will not plan for your next vacation or long weekend.

Clarity:? Not every man knows how to express his feelings directly, so he continues to be ambiguous. He does not clarify his feelings and leaves intentions vague. He may not fully understand his own hesitation.

Other Women: He talks about other women and shows an overt interest. He stays close or initiates contact with an ex. A man who is interested in you will be paying attention to you.

Excuses: He has a set of reasons for not being more involved. His reasons leave little room for debate, such as focusing on his career, hurt by an ex or he is too busy to give time and energy. If he were interested, he would find solutions, not excuses.

Intimacy: He is less interested in intimate contact or only wants to be with you physically when it is last minute or he has been drinking. The amount of contact is less frequent or has stopped.

Instinct: Go with your gut feeling. If you think something is wrong, then it probably is. Your friends are most likely seeing signs as well and may try to tell you.

Your Signals: It takes two to communicate intent. Are you sending signals that he is misreading? Are his behaviours in response to what you are putting out there?

Examine your own signs to see if he may be reacting to you.
