The Association of Nollywood Core Producers (ANCOP) has given a Nollywood Icon Award to Ghana Based Nigerian film producer and media practitioner Theo Akatugba for his immense contribution to the expansion of the frontiers of Nollywood.Expressing his gratitude, Akatugba said “I feel elated that a group of Nollywood producers under the umbrella of ANCOP thought it wise to recognize my contributions to the growth of Nollywood as well as remembering that I am one of the pioneering producers who helped to form and sustain what we now know today as Nollywood. ...
